Our Pastor
Pastor Mulugeta Abate is a person who is filled with the zeal and love of the Lord to see lives being changed, delivered and transformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Mulugeta Abate together with his wife, Tihut Yohannes, served as Pastor and church planter in Kenya . The churches that God planted through their ministry are still flourishing in fulfilling the purpose of God.
God also gave them a privilege to Pastor the New York Emmanuel Worship Center for 16 years. Having received a vision from the Lord, they diligently labored to reach the city with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, equip believers for the kingdom, spread the gospel to other races and cultures, help the church acquire a property and make possible the New Jersey local church plant.
Now they are ready to work on a new church plant in the state of Maryland, which will greatly contribute to the expansion of the kingdom of God .
Pastor Mulugeta Abate has studied theology In Kenya for eight years and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Nairobi International School of Theology.
God has blessed him and his wife with two daughters, Debbie and Hiywete, and their son Benni.
Our Mission

- Training believers to mature in character and gifts of the spirit that they may fulfill their God-given mission.
- Encouraging believers to grow in their personal prayer life and be an active participants in congregational prayer times as well.
- Teaching believers to look forward to the coming of our lord Jesus Christ with all hope and diligence.
- Planting local churches in North America and appoint and release ministers accordingly.
- Conveying The Five-Fold Ministry Mentioned In Ephesians 4:11-13 to believers and allow these ministerial gifts to operate.
- To live beyond racial and cultural boundaries, and cause nations to come together to worship the lord.
